This is such a quiet and quaint little chapel that when we walked into it, it was so serene and peaceful. I was able to say my morning prayers and be thankful for the weekend. Also, the fact that it's located deep in yosemite Park gives it an added sense of spirituality for me. The day we went was raining, so it really made the area even more beautiful. There is a place on the wall with historical information that was interesting.

Such a simple yet beautiful little chapel in the valley. Also, a fun fact for you is that it’s the oldest building in the valley! It’s also an epic place to have a meeting with Bill…

You really get what you pay for here. It's free and you get very little. Not yet open or restored so there is really nothing to see, and parking for only about 6 trucks and no RVs but right on the trail of you want to walk in. There wasn't even a mention on our audio tour of the park. We took some pics but they were so boring didn't even use them. Give this review a like if you skip this bump in your Yosemite vacation and use the time to visit glacier point. Or do one of the great hikes in the park. This was our experience stopping at the chapel while doing the media hike. Tell us about your stop at the chapel and if you found enlightenment. The owner response could provide more info about the chapel of point you to a ranger that might be able to elaborate more but no, it chooses to try to confuse you by saying the review is not about the chapel. Oh some reviews talk about getting married here. Just imagine you plan you perfect wedding and the govt runs out of money and closes the whole park down on your wedding day. Yep that would be a great wedding day story how you had to scramble to still get married. Oh sand you better pay your media fee if any photos make it into the Internet as it now requires a large SIM to pay photos of a park on SM. Skip these over-hyped national parks and visit you local state park.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday service at the Yosemite community church while on our trip to the Yosemite national park. We felt incredibly welcomed, and it was so fun to connect with other Christians both visiting the park and those who lived in the valley while at the service. This is a must visit place for anyone who would like to take a moment to worship the creator, amidst being in such a beautiful creation as the park. The worship was awesome, and the pastor delivered biblical truth and encouragement to all who attended. Not to mention that the chapel is so beautiful and full of history!

5 stars because I'm not answering to Saint Peter about leaving a bad review. That being said, the only reason to stop is to use the parking lot to look at the falls. I feel pretty confident that's what God wants anyways.

Few places on earth rival the majestic creation of Yosemite. This chapel is ideal for a medium size event but it will require travel planning and tight parking for your group. The park is a must see for people making their bucket list - have met numerous visitors from Asia, Europe, and South America over the years - ran into a couple visiting all the way from Israel this weekend!

I had visit this attractive Chapel on December/20/2020. The prettiest little wooden Chapel I have ever seen! I went on Sunday, the chapel was closed but there are wide open spaces with the spectacular views. Yosemite falls, swimming bridge, meadows, great view of half dome, and also a popular hiking trails are all surrounding around the chapel. It is more than beautiful gift from God, especially during challenging time we are living in right now. Very peaceful and serene, It makes me think that this is the last stop before entering the gates of heaven. I can see why people love to get married here! It’s something that you should check it out on your visit to the Yosemite Valley!!!

A quaint little chapel that really pops in pictures when there is snow on the ground. Great place to view Bridal Falls which is across the way from the chapel.
